auburn shot 11-22 from 3 and we still managed to control the game. this isn't a huuge deal.

Man I can't believe we are 13-1. I drink the loo aid and didn't think this would be possible. Now find a way to go at least .500 in conference.

I don't see it as a problem. I'll say:

@ Purdue - L

Ohio St - W

Minnesota - W

@ Wisc - L

NW - W

@ Neb - W

Michigan - L

@ MSU - L

Wisc - W

Indiana - W

@ Minnesota - L

Purdue - W

@ NW - W

Penn St - W

@ Michigan - L

Neb - W

@ Iowa - L

@ OSU - L

So 10-8

Bold are huge games IMO.

Really looking forward to the start of the Big 10 season tomorrow. I'm not especially good with predictions, so choosing to just sit back and watch how this all is going to play out. I really think tomorrow is a huge game for IU at Iowa. As good as IU has been, there are still some question marks about this team. This is the first true road game IU will play, everything else was at home or neutral location (3 if you count Indy). I like IU's chances against anyone at home, but there is still some doubt with me when they go on the road. Iowa isn't great, but they will be ready and compete, curious to see how IU handles that.

The first half of Indiana's Big 10 season is not as strong as the latter half. In order to be in position to win this conference, they need to take advantage of that. Their tougher opponents all come to Bloomington, with no road games against any of the predicted contenders.

@Iowa

@PSU

Minnesota

Wisconsin

@Northwestern

PSU

MSU

@PU

I think they need to win all of these if they want to be in position to win the conference.

That road schedule is awesome. But 7-1 still puts them in pretty good position to win the conference. Minnesota at home is the game I worry about most if those 8 on paper.

Can't wait until the Iowa/IU game. It's been sold out for about a week, which isn't common for Iowa basketball at all, so it's cool that the fans are supporting the team.

The cynical Iowa basketball fan in me says it won't even be close(in a loss of course)but if they somehow win...

I wonder how many IU fans will be there.

Why does this stupid game have to start at 4pm? It will be halfway over by the time I get home from work. #-o

Work makes it so I can't watch it at all so I'm hoping to avoid spoilers but since I live in Indiana that may be hard.

This is the point where not having any pre-conference road games haunts IU. Iowa by eight.

Ohio State winning the league? Curious . . . I'm not seeing that, at all. Their best win is Washington (Pomeroy No. 110). I don't think they're certain to finish in the top three.

I was very impressed with how they played Duke @ Cameron and I love DeShaun Thomas

I agree in that I thought they played very well against Duke, and would have won if not for an unusually abysmal shooting performance by Craft (though Duke is garnering a lot of credit for wins that sound better than they are -- Kentucky when Kentucky couldn't beat anyone and Louisville without Dieng). I'm less in love with Thomas though (I've had that feeling since his early high school days). Per my eye test, Ohio State is not much better or worse than a handful of teams in the league. We shall see.

Really wanted that one but I guess you can't expect to beat the number 5 team when you're unranked. It'd be nice to at least get Michigan State at home since I can't see them beating Michigan on the road.

If Jordan Hulls shoots like Jordan Hulls, IU wins by 15. Nice to see Cody assert himself...wish it didn't take 20 minutes every game.

Dev Marble plays like Dev Marble, Iowa wins by 10.
