Big Ten fans, can you guys tell me about Minnesota?

Top 10 team when they feel like playing. Lot of size.

Fortunately for other teams they haven't played with any urgency (outside of the IU game) in a month.

Are they athletic?

Are they athletic?

Rodney Williams is, and Mbakwe is a fantastic defender.

Whoever was giving me crap about SLU, Gottlieb just agreed with me. I think they're going to wreak havoc. They're more athletic than they seem, they have upper class men, and play great defense. Unfortunate they get Louisville if they get to the 16, the quickness of their guards may cause them problems.

Up front they're very athletic, especially Mbakwe.

I have Louisville winning the title, but I paused for a minute picking SLU/Louisville when I did my first bracket a minute ago.

I just picked Louisville over Florida, but I have few upsets and don't feel great about the bracket as a whole. But we'll see.

Hahaha, athletic big men against the Wear twins. Can't imagine UCLA will win.

I just realized that if Michigan gets to the Sweet 16, they will be playing in Cowboys Stadium. I do not like the idea of Michigan playing another big game in that stadium.

I'll take the East draw over the Midwest draw. Miami is the best #2, but very beatable. I think got the worst 3 and 5s and maybe the worst or 2nd worst 4 seed.

Same here. After seeing the Midwest I'd prefer the East. Mostly avoided the slow tempo teams (at least early on). NC State has talent but hasn't put it together and doesn't play great defense. Temple isn't as good as recent years, in my opinion. I could see UNLV doing their best Minnesota impression with their huge frontline, but I'd rather see them than, say, St. Louis, who was a nightmare for me. Syracuse, I don't know, they haven't been playing that well in my opinion. (Obviously anything can happen, so not saying anything is given. But, hey, no Wisconsin!)

No reason to even worry about farther than potential Sweet Sixteen match-ups.

That's what my final is too. Had New Mexico and Miami as my other final 4 teams. Biggest upset seed wise are Bellmont over Arizona and Bucknell over Butler. I'm tempted to pick Pitt over Gonzaga in the 2nd round but don't have it currently.

I picked Bucknell as well, and the play-in winner over Memphis. My actual biggest upset is UNC over Kansas in round 2.

If you would have seen Minnesota the last 2 months any game besides IU you wouldn't be so concerned. They can look really good but they also can play extremely dumb and fold up their tents easily. They've struggled mightily against zones.

Hilarious...St. Louis was stuck in traffic leaving the Barclays Center and had to watch the selection show from a Best Buy somewhere in NJ.

Too bad Ben Howland never zones, even with an unathletic team that can't handle man defense.

How did Cal get an at-large as a 12 seed and MTSU and St. Mary's get stuck in a play-in game as 11's?

they said Cal and Oregon were 11 seeds on the S-Curve but when bracketing they were forced to move them down to 12 seeds

I wasn't able to watch the selection show. Thanks.

That said, I can't believe Cal will be playing in San Jose as an 11 or a 12-seed.
