Because I don't watch college football, and really don't pay attention to teams that aren't playing the Bears this was my first Tebow game. I get that he sucks at QB 75%+ of the time and he I guess he is supposedly in your face about his religion.... I don't get all the hate. Tons of athletes do religious stuff.

What are the odds that if you reinacted these 3 games from a certain situation that all 3 would turn out against the Bears:

 

1) Replay the Panthers-Falcons game from 5:00 left with Carolina about to attempt a 37 yard FG for the lead.

2) Replay the Vikings-Lions game with 9 seconds left and the Vikings 1st and goal from the 1 with a TD giving them the win

3) Replay the Bears-Broncos game with 2:30 left and the Bears with a 10 point lead

 

Also, one more thing....which game was worse: 2008 against Atlanta or today? Both basically cost us the playoffs.

I dont think Tebow was really that good down the stretch. The Bears changed their defense and couldn't get any pressure with their 4 man front. Hanie would have been just as effective in Tebow's place.

This game sucked.

 

You watched the game and you cant figure out why people hate Tebow? This is probably the 3rd most improbable win of the season for him (with the game against Miami and last week against the Vikings being more improbable). He sucks the entire game and you get lulled into a sense of security and then randomly every single thing goes right for him and your head is spinning as you sit there realizing you lost.

 

THEN you add the religious [expletive] to it and thats why he's hated now. In college it was a little different because he was actually sorta good at that level.

Without question there's really no need for Barber to ever take another snap in a Bears uniform, his stupidity has played a large factor in these last two losses. Go with Bell, see what he's got.
