This could leave Les Frazier to ponder is depth chart at QB for next week, eh?

Not sure why McNabb would see the field again, barring injury. Ponder's a 1st round pick. That's a 1-5 ballclub on the road to nowhere. Got to find out what you just paid for.

Well well well....

I must say, I didn't expect such a drubbing. Either the Vikings are exceptionally bad or we are figuring a few things out. Maybe a little of both is true.

This was a fun night. I needed this! Thanks Bears :)

Several guys had great games, but Chris Williams was a monster tonight. Hopefully this line combo can stick.

Oh I noticed they said something about how Hester's 17 total return TDs are second to Deion Sanders' 19. Are they really counting interception returns? Really?

Just the next record for him to break.

They always have?

i don't know why they would count interception returns when determining who has the most return touchdowns.

Record of teams Bears lost to: 15-3

Record of teams Bears beat: 4-13

I believe we still have no ideal how good or bad the Bears are. We can assume they probably aren't an elite team and we know they arent quite bottom feeders but everything else is still game.

I hadn't heard of this until tonight. When Hester returned that punt against Minnesota last December at TCF, they made a big deal about how he was now the all-time leader in return TDs. Obviously we know now they meant kick/punt returns.

Tonight was his first kick return for a TD since 2007. From then until now they have all been punts.

Yeah, it's just a way to be like "Another record goes down!"

This made me go back and watch deion sanders highlights on youtube. Man, he was a freak.

The Bears went from a complete mess to "what do they do now?" in a week. After tonight, you want the line combo to stick, but you have to remember Gabe Carimi will be back (probably after the bye). I think you gotta get him in there. He is the most talented player the Bears have on the OL. Interesting move would be to put Carimi at LT and benching J'Marcus Webb, but he played well enough yesterday to stick too.

Also, what do you do about Paea? Does he stay in the rotation over Big Toe? I am assuming the safeties stay the same, but you can't leave Chris Harris inactive every game. Roach was pretty good last night too at SLB. Hopefully, the coaching decisions are more like these and less of who's playing RT, RG, FS, SS, DT, DE.

Defense looked pretty good last night, but they were without 2 of their starting offensive linemen.

Amazing how different Cutler looks when he isn't running for his life on the field. If it weren't for the dropped balls last night, he really would have some amazing numbers today.

In what way? I think he looked better last week than he looked this week, and last week he was running for his life.

I'm not sure what they saw in practice, but it's pretty obvious Paea can play in the NFL and have a positive impact. I'm not sure how he can be taken out of the rotation. I can take or leave Chris Harris.

The offensive line was mostly helped by having 2 tight ends and a running back helping out. They were okay, but I wouldn't hesitate to move a better guy in there. That said, I don't think Carimi at LT works right now.

Chicago Bears safety Chris Harris has formally requested to be traded after being benched for Sunday's 39-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Albert Elias, Harris' agent, tweeted Monday that the Bears have granted him permission to explore a deal for his client in advance of Tuesday's NFL trade deadline.

Fine with me. I don't understand how you can play as poorly as he played last week, and then have the type of reaction he had to being demoted this week. I'm guessing this is part of the reason why he didn't dress, because he turned into captain sulk last week.

i had no idea he was benched, i thought we just rushed him back too quickly. that sucks because when he's playing well he's the best safety we have.

Yeah, I'd have a hard time getting worked up over a Harris trade. Can't even blame last week on injury. He was just playing dumb.
