The White Sox are a [expletive] organization run by [expletive].

The Cardinals are a storied franchise worthy of respect. They represent the National League very well.

Are you high? Who the [expletive] cares about league pride this much? Holy [expletive] this is a [expletive] bizarre statement.

Probably because I'm posting in the thread. FTR, I wanted the Rangers to win.

So you have two accounts?

Man, you're fast on the draw.

I'm actually admiring the updated google analytics that give me a real-time view of page views as they're happening. Extremely cool.

So I was refreshing the thread when I saw that post.

There's also currently 41 other st louis fans browsing the thread right now.

That makes sense. There's no reason for them to be out at a bar celebrating or anything...

I hope if we ever win it all, none of us end up on anyone else's board.

I'm not even sure I'd be on this board (at least immediately). My progression would be like: win? ---> WIIIINNN!! ---> bar ---> shots ---> ? ---> hopefully still alive ---> then probably NSBB ---> then NSBB backup board.

To all of the classless idiots in this thread, good luck for the next 103 years!

If you think the mere presence of Epstein is going to fix Cubs baseball, you're even dumber than you made yourselves look in this thread.

Go ahead and ban me now, and when you do, know that I got the last word, because I won't be coming back to look at how all of you retards responded. #11 in '11! :good: \:D/

He's right about one thing: he won't be back.

man the hillbillies really came out of the woodwork after this win.

They like to head on down to the local liberry to type on them fancy electronic typewriters and pick up some Skoal on the way home.

I believe there are some right smart typing televisions at the book building as well.

Some Cardinal fans on Twitter were apalled on why Cubs fans were rooting against them. I'm not really sure what they were expecting.

Oh and you really have to be a complete no-life if you post on a rivals message board after winning a [expletive] championship.

I'm sure in 03 they were all pulling for us. Don't those hicks get how rivalries work? We don't like you.

That's a rhetorical question right?

Theo Epstein will smite this redneck hillbilly and he will turn into a top prospect for the Cubs.

If I were a Cardinal fan regarding the Cubs worst possible event just occurred - they hired a smart, competent front office. Given their resources the Cubs are a sleeping giant, all it's ever taken is the right people pushing the right buttons.

I really doubt I'll make a single post on NSBB during a Cubs world series game, and certainly won't be seen until 4 AM the night we win it all

I'm sure I'd be watching the game with friends on the biggest screen we could find. I'd probably have my tablet with me and post occasionally, though.

Of course, it's my website, so I'd feel I had to. :D

As a Cardinal fan, I sincerely hope Theo turns it around for your team. There is nothing more exciting in Stl/Chi sports than a competitive Cards/Cubs rivalry. Those early to mid 2000s races were a lot of fun.

Best of luck (or just a little less than the Cards) to you guys.

When I activated your account, I anticipated having to ban it later today.

Thanks for being more classy than some of your compatriots and congrats.

That's nice.

Meanwhile, I hope all of your butts fall out the next time you [expletive].

GOOD DAY!

(I'm just acting tough online. I want to be friends with everyone.)

Well Allen Craig and David Freese just lead you toma World Series, it's gonna be tough for us to be luckier than you. Thanks though.

It was also pretty lucky that they got that 0.08 inches of rain that "forced" the rain out and allowed Carpenter to pitch the clincher.

Oh well, it's over. Time for us to get one.

The Rangers had a say in calling the game as well.

But, come on, the Rangers weren't going to win game 7 unless Ryan Franklin made a surprise appearance. Game 6 took it out of them and, to paraphrase a previous poster, we had a horseshoe lodged firmly between the cheeks.

Let's face it folks. The Cardinals are and always will be the toast of the National League. As Cubs fans, we should respect that. We are lucky they consider us a rival. We will never be anything more than "lovable losers", but that's okay.
