  1. Sounds like you're over it...
  2. Carter all day. Giants have given up the 2nd fewest points to RBs and the Titans have given up the 4th most.
  3. That's what makes it a true rivalry. It doesn't matter if the teams are tied for 1st or ones in 1st and the other 30 games out, the games matter regardless. With the Cards/Brewers, for example, they had a strong rivalry this year as 2 teams always will when in a pennant race but in a few years time when 1 or both teams become irrelevant, it will be forgotten. Kid of like Cubs/Brewers in 2008. Aside from those of us who have to del with Cheese Balls on a regualr basis, most Cubs fans don't care either way about the Brewers, although their fans feel differently I guess. Cubs/Cardinals will never go away. In fact, aside from Yankees/Red Sox, is there a more intense rivalry in baseball? Maybe Dodgers/Giants. But how much better did the rivalry get when the Sox started to become a real threat to the empire the Yanks were building? There has to be some level of competitiveness for the rivalry to really mean something. I just found this. Interesting http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/lists/MLB-top-10-rivalries-042710#photo-title=Dodgers-Giants&photo=11184034 10. Cubs/Brewers 6. Cubs/White Sox 3. Cubs/Cards 2. Yanks/Red Sox 1. Dodgers/Giants. I had no idea that Dodgers/Giants was more intense than Yanks/Sawx. I would say running the risk of getting shot/knifed/gang raped qualifies as intense.

  5. Well Allen Craig and David Freese just lead you toma World Series, it's gonna be tough for us to be luckier than you. Thanks though. It was also pretty lucky that they got that 0.08 inches of rain that "forced" the rain out and allowed Carpenter to pitch the clincher. The Rangers had a say in calling the game as well. But, come on, the Rangers weren't going to win game 7 unless Ryan Franklin made a surprise appearance. Game 6 took it out of them and, to paraphrase a previous poster, we had a horseshoe lodged firmly between the cheeks.
  6. As a Cardinal fan, I sincerely hope Theo turns it around for your team. There is nothing more exciting in Stl/Chi sports than a competitive Cards/Cubs rivalry. Those early to mid 2000s races were a lot of fun. Best of luck (or just a little less than the Cards) to you guys.
