He's a god. He should be a top 5 pick.

*hopes Royce is listening*

I've never heard of him until like yesterday, but I have him going #1 overall.

It was a lot easier for these ISU players to be player of the year contenders when they were at their respective JUCOs

Yes, it turns out ISU is actually a 4 year university. I was surprised too.

the only reason people call them a cow college is because they were founded by a cow

um...

“Royce White is a player of the year candidate in the country for what he does,” Ford said. “Watching Iowa State — by March, they can be a Final Four team, that’s how good and talented they are.”

sarcasm?

Are they even a tourny team?

I'll gladly yell at Royce White and tell him he looks like some sort of human/Chocobo abomination, but I'm afraid I'm without the opportunity.

The 2006 GW team came into the tournament with 2 losses. They lost in their conference tournament to Temple as well. And don't forget 2003-2004 St. Joe's, who went 27-1 and got a no. 1 seed.

That's not really a good comp. The A-10 is typically a much stronger league than any of these other conferences like the Colonial or the Horizon. When you typically get 3-4 teams in every year, the conference/team gets a lot more clout when they run through it like St. Joe's did that year.

RPI 51, only top 100 win was at home against Texas (next best was #103 Iowa). Losses to Drake, Michigan, Northern Iowa, Missouri, Kansas. Plenty of time to build a tournament resume in a solid league, but they're certainly not there yet.

Kind of my thoughts.

The A-10, Colonial, and Horizon are each much better conferences than the Ohio Valley. Murray State is the only team in the Ohio Valley that's in the top 200 of the RPI (Tennessee Tech is #180 KenPom). Any loss for Murray State from here on out, aside from the Bracket Busters game, will be a bad loss.

I just kind of assumed White would be going to the NBA. He'll already be 21 after the season and I don't know if he's played two straight seasons in full since he was 12.

I know we've had this discussion before but are Purdue fans required by law to boo every call? Byrd just tried to foul McCabe so he wouldn't get a layup, put his forearm square in his back with a push and of course resounding "ohhh" and boos reign down.

Especially strange since they foul more than any team in the league.

Jesus Michigan was up 12 over Michigan state and then randomly MSU hits 5-6 3 pointers in a row without a miss. Every possession was a 3. Now they are winning. Edited by UMFan83

OK, some facts wrong. Michigan was up 11 with 12 minutes left. Here are the MSU possessions from then to now (3:30 left)

3 pointer made

2 pointer made

3 pointer made

Missed shot

3 pointer made (and 1)

3 pointer made

2 pointer made

Purdue fans like to boo for no reason. It's kind of annoying.

Also, I still can't believe this team lost to [expletive] Campbell.

Oh thank God. Green misses a wide open look at a 5 foot jumper and then misses the tip off the front win as the clock expires. Michigan collects another NCAA quality win. 3 wins in a row for UM over little brother.

well that was just a fantastic defensive series at the end there

Defense really stepped it up at the end after MSU went on their insane run.

I do think Michigan can win at MSU again this year. Other then MSU randomly catching on fire from 3 Michigan really outplayed them IMO

edit: wait, wide open look? he was falling to his left, the shot was awkard as hell

Yeah I just watched the replay. When I was watching it tense as all hell it looked like he got right into the middle of the paint and didn't have anyone challenging the shot. Watching it after the fact tells a different story and makes sense that he missed it because it was a rather tough shot.

lol at Purdue getting ready to lose to Iowa at home. White running down the floor without dribbling and no traveling call. Disgraceful.
