There's something that's just so entertaining about a team getting a shot clock violation without even attempting a shot. Hearing the buzzer go off as a guy's dribbling at the top of the key, it's just great.

Hulls has struggled the past couple of games. That game went about how I expected it to. This next stretch will define how this Big10 season goes for IU.

Those aren't impossible games, like today clearly was on paper. Wisconsin lost to Iowa at home. Purdue lost at home to a Butler team IU throttled. Michigan is the Raiders of college basketball. Consistently inconsistent. IU is definitely good enough to win 2 of 3 of those games, it's not likely but definitely not out of the question. They are all very good defensive teams, which scares me, but none of them can score consistently enough to make them unbeatable in any game.

I wouldn't assume any road win in the Big Ten, and Nebraska isn't that terrible. Two of their better players were out for their first 3 Big Ten games.

2013 F Derek Willis to decide between Purdue and Kentucky this week. He's 23rd nationally in Rivals latest rankings. I don't like our chances but I guess there is a sliver of hope.

Yes. Wisconsin sucks, and they will win one between Michigan/Purdue.

The way IU is playing right now I would not assume ANYTHING and that includes the Nebraska road game. This team hasn't looked quite right since the 1st half of the Michigan game.

Eh, they played well until the last 5 minutes of the Penn St. game. Minnesota was just an odd game. The Gophers definitely wanted it more and got to every loose ball. IU also inexplicably couldn't knock down shots at home. The game in Columbus was going to be a loss either way, wish it wasn't as bad as it was, but they also smothered IU defensively which we weren't prepared to deal with. I think they get back on track.

Derek Willis to Kentucky. I can't blame him, it's an NBA factory and the kid lives in Kentucky. I do find it kind of amusing that the kid's dad publicly ripped Calipari a few months back. It would've been nice to have a 6' 9" with forward with a guard's ball handling and shooting ability.

They're certainly not top 10 good. I hope they finish undefeated to see how high they climb in the polls, and to see what the committee does with them.

They're currently sitting at an RPI of 28, which I have trouble seeing go much higher. I'd probably give them a 5-6 seed if they went undefeated, and an 8-9 if they went in with a loss.

 

That 1996 Princeton team that came into the tournament 25-1 got a 5 seed. The 2006 GW team that came into the tournament 26-1 got an 8 seed. The Ohio Valley is terrible, so Murray State's best win of the year is likely either the Memphis game or whoever they play in the Bracket Busters matchup. Could end up undefeated without playing a single tournament team on the year.

It's [expletive], they don't allow you to question the coach or any of his choices. But, teenage kids are fair game to attack. Weber gets paid millions a year, but he's protected. I don't get how the scout network hasn't stepped in, I know they've lost two premium accounts for sure over that moderation.

After the first deletion I responded laughing about his "grow up" comment. He sent me the same message, telling me to stay out of the thread, and grow up. He's the worst.
