only a missouri fan could think that was a good call. the awful thing is, it wasn't even the worst call in the last 3 minutes. Robinson did a drop step spin that left some Missouri schmuck's underwear on the ground, and he gets whistled. Takes 2 points off the board, which would have probably put the game out of reach. Credit to Denmon for hitting the shots though.

You mean the drive where robinson travelled? You know by switching his pivot feet while spinning? That one?

A block/charge foul occurs when a defender tries to get in front of his man to stop him from going in that direction...If he gets to a legal position

one of the greatest atmospheres ive ever been in, probably #2 behind last year's football game against OU. i know we wont get any calls in lawrence, so ill take it tonight. thomas robinson is probably player of the year, and im disappointed that tyshawn taylor doesnt turn the ball over any more.

There are so many bad calls throughout the course of any NCAA Basketball game. For a borderline call to get this much attention is ridiculous. If this happened at any other point in the game nobody would say anything. The "analyst" who are pointing this play out are showing their biases clearly. The reason kU stretched their lead to 8 was because of Ratliffe's foul situation which was aided by two HORRIBLE foul calls against him. It goes both ways.

I don't care about Missouri or Kansas, but if I was a Kansas fan I would feel like I just played a game at the Kohl Center.

Or a road team in the phog?

Fun fact Cole alrdich never fouled out of a game in college. But as an NBA player has fouled every 4 minutes he's been on the court. Did he forget the coaching that Self gave him to not foul all the time while challenging every shot?

That was my exact thought when I read that.

Oh, I'm sure. I have little doubt it'll be the same, if not worse, on Missouri's return trip to Kansas.

I really enjoy watching Missouri basketball.

I'm still not sure how Haith has made this much of a difference. I know Ernie Nestor(former HC at George Mason and Elon) is supposed to really help with X's and O's, but you'd think there'd have been some hint that Haith was capable of this at Miami. I know he doesn't try and cram players into a particular scheme, so he must have just struck gold with the 4 guards thing. Their spacing is remarkable.

Oh, for sure. They're one of the more enjoyable teams to watch in the nation. I hope they can have a good tournament; I wonder if the size issue will bite them earlier than their seed implies it should.

i'd be fine if Hardaway Jr. never again attempted a three

Whenever he shoots a 3, I just assume its a miss. Same with Vogrich.

Guess Michigan's "signature" road win is going to be the 2 point win at Purdue unless a potential victory in Evanston or Champaign would be considered better.

It reminds me a lot of the 1987 Iowa team. I wasn't old enough to know anything at the time but they were honored this weekend and of course I've heard and read a lot about them.

After Lute Olsen left, George Raveling recruited some really good talent but was questioned as a coach. Iowa finished 5th and 6th in the Big Ten his last two years and lost in the 1st round of the tournament. They hired Tom Davis who had a 58-59 overall record at Stanford and was 25-47 in the Pac Ten.

He comes in, changes the style up a bit and gets a lot more out of some of the players than anyone expected. They start the year 18-0, are ranked #1 for a couple of weeks and ended up finishing 30-5 with a loss to UNLV in the Elite 8 (a game they led by 18 early in the second half). The talent that was already there was just a perfect mix for him and he got the most out of them.

This one was on the defensive gameplan. Just terrible.

What about continually walking the ball up letting Northwestern set up their zone?
