It's $5 million more to spend this season, and $5 million less to spend next season... but Aramis, Kosuke, Silva, Samardzija, and Grabow will be off the books in 2012 with big money going to only Zambrano, Soriano, and Dempster. Sacrificing $5 million next season shouldn't be much of a burden

There's a $16 million club option on Ramirez (which I hope we won't take), a $14 million player option for Dempster (which he probably will take), $12 million mutual option for Silva (which we probably won't take).

 

That's it. Otherwise, it's $4 million total to buy out Ramirez and Silva
