wow, PSU made that look easy

too bad about Persa. How is the backup?

The backup is Evan Watkins.

He was pretty highly recruited out of HS, is a big guy (6'6, 230) and has a cannon arm. The problem is, he's not nearly as elusive as Persa despite being pretty quick. It'll be harder for him to buy time in the pocket as he's more of a pro-style QB.

Should make for an interesting game next week.

Utah apparently suffering a hangover from last week and is down 28-3 to Notre Dame in the fourth quarter.

At least Denard Robinson is bad.

Nice random shot at a UM player. I don't know what Denard has to do with you losing to Minnesota at home, but whatever makes you feel better I guess.

Because I think everybody knew that he was a fraud after he was putting up those numbers against the little sisters of the poor, yet people seriously put him in the Heisman race.

Okay, that's great. What does that have to do with Illinois losing to Minnesota? I'm also guessing you'd take Denard Robinson on your team in a heartbeat.

Probably. I didn't take the random shot, though.

Everything about the Illinois game has already been said. Zook must go.

San Diego State has one first down late in the first half and 49 of their 86 yards (and only first down) came on a 49-yard pass on their second offensive play.

Or Utah just isn't any good.

Are you trying to tell me their OT win over Pitt at home meant nothing???

Persa with a ruptured achilles. He's done for the year. Big loss for Northwestern.

He in the world did that happen? I didn't see much apart form Persa getting his foot barely stepped on.

When was the last time Wisconsin's basketball team scored 83?

Probably against IU

Oddly enough, their last game over 80 points was against Indiana. They scored over 80 three times last year, but the last one was against Indiana in which they scored exactly 83 pts.

Is ND winning gonna hurt TCU's BCS numbers a lot?

That's what they get for backing out of a game at ND Stadium this year. This wouldn't have hurt their BCS numbers otherwise.

That was a really, immensely satisfying win. I know Utah's not all that great, but playing with their 2nd team offense and after the worst back to back weeks in program history, it was sorely needed. Beat Army and make a bowl.

Speaking of huge hits to TCU, SDSU has cut it to 40-35 with 4:50 to go - plenty of time to get a stop and score again.

So Auburn's D-line decided to take as many cheap-punk hits on the opposing QB as possible, and for their trouble they now have two guys suspended for the 1st half against Alabama.

lol @ oregon st

In Corvallis, at that. How embarrassing for a good program.
