What can get the extra .5? A barbed wire armband tattoo?

That or if the white t-shirt was replaced with either a Ed Hardy or an Afflication shirt.

Reeking of Axe Body Spray would also do it.

that guy's look epitomizes everything why i don't ever sit in the bleachers anymore:

-plain, white t-shirt? check

-cub hat, slightly cocked to the side? check

-thinly groomed beard? check

-oversized, white sunglasses hanging from t-shirt? check

-white sweat bands on the forearm? check

I really don't understand what's douchy or wrong with a plain white t-shirt. The rest, sure.

Talking with some Cards fans who came over to annoy me, we figured either one of these could happen.

-the first row or two of the bleachers will be replaced with grass or flowers. A number of the new ballparks have these barriers at their ballparks.

-beer prices will be increased to cut down on drinking while not effecting revenue. Beers are more expensive in other ballparks. They're $9 and $9.50 here in St. Louis even though its brewed a mile away.

Or be sitting with an incredibly hot Trixie who spends the entire game texting or chatting on her iPhone while wearing pink Cubs gear.

Pretty sure people can still throw things on the field from the 3rd row. And beer price would have to get a lot higher than $9/$9.50 to prevent people from getting drunk.

What a D-Bag. I remember Braun getting Beer thrown at him last year during the Gallardo ACL game.

And yeah, I as a Brewer fan know this is not what all cub fans are about, it does make Cub fans look bad but smart enough fans know that every team has their own D-Bag fans.

it's the V neck part of it that is douchy imo

Is it actually a V-neck or is it a crew-neck with the collar stretched down from supporting the weight of the glasses? I couldn't really tell. If it's a V-neck, I'll grant you that may be douchy. I really don't think regular white t-shirts are douchy though.

Replace "hot" with "over-tanned and plastic surgery-ridden" and you'd be on the money.

I rarely sit in the bleachers, only three times. The first two times were day games. The Cubs lost both of them. One of them was the last game of the Cubs/Reds 4-game set at the end of 2004, so a pretty tough one to be at. The fans were ticked, but I felt were knowledgeable and didn't do anything embarrassing. However, I was in the bleachers this year for the night game where Soriano hit the walkoff gs. There were fights, ejections and overall stupidity all around me. It seems that this is no coincidence.

I just sat in the bleachers for the very first time about a month ago and I was expecting the worse, i.e. drunk, obnoxious, loud, frat boys and I must admit I never saw it at all. I actually had a great time and everyone around me was very respectful of the players and other fans. Is that not normal?

Yea I sat out there for the Cleveland game vs Lee for the 1st time, and I had or seen no problems. Everybody having a good time drinking watching the game, and having fun with some of the uhh well endowed females out there. No fights, no problems, nothing, and this was a Sat 3 10 game.

IF this had happened in the playoffs, and the fan caused Victorino to miss the ball leading to the go-ahead run being scored, how would we react then?

Well, after the umpire calls out on fan interference, that guy would be run out of town on a rail worse than Bartman, I'd hope.

So the result would have been the same as if he had not thrown the beer.

I hope the moron is caught and prosecuted, but the coverage is really ridiculous. It's the lead story on the 5:00 news today. It must really be a slow news day.

Dude just turned himself in to CPD

Yup, they are meeting with the Cubs/Phils before deciding on what action to take. Confiscating his arm band would be a good place to start imo

CHICAGO - A Bartlett man believed to have tossed a beer on a Philadelphia Phillies outfielder during last night's Cubs game has turned himself in to Chicago police detectives.

The 21-year-old man contacted police and said he wanted to come in to talk about the alleged battery.

During the bottom of the fifth inning Wednesday night, the Cubs' Jake Fox hit a long fly ball to center field. Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino camped under the ball, but as he caught it a fan from the Wrigley bleachers tossed a cup of beer at him, splashing the centerfielder. Victorino still caught the ball. The Cubs lost the game 12-5.
