    Cubs media never seems to ask questions about this project until there's a press release or a Crane release, but is the annex along Addison and Sheffield actually going to happen?     Wiillson Contreras' development and implementation into the majors could work out well with the Cubs roster. Assuming he gets called up at some point in the second half, it just helps expose him to the major league experience and lifestyle. Next season with Ross retired, Montero and Contreras are your catchers. Contreras can develop with a full season under Montero's leadership. Playing time can fluctuate depending on Contreras' performance and team needs.

    I don't have the stomach to get optimistic again this yr. I will be satisfied if the Cubs can keep the Phillies to under 30 runs in the series. :-))
