No kidding is a 3-31 ERA better than a 3.31 era? Damn Cardinals are making up their own numbers for their stats now wtf. :D

I thought I caught all of those. :D

 

I kept typing their records as 1.0 or 2.0 and putting dashes instead of periods for ERA and WHIP and I'm not quite sure why.

I don't know if this is allowed, but can I make a request of an addition to your stats Fred?

 

The Cubs are 4-6 when Aaron Miles plays...4-0 when he doesn't.

 

Interesting idea. The way I have it is.....

 

CUBS are 2-2 when Aaron Miles starts at second base..... 6-4 when he doesn't.

 

Unfortunately, the way I set up my databases..... team records and appearances in a game (other than being the starter) aren't correlated. But... it is something to think about.

It's still worth noting, though, that he had a PH PA where he wasn't a negative effect on the team.

I would say that anytime you fall behind the Pirates in the standings, no matter the juncture of the season, "Cobs" is fair game.

I used to be able to pick up WGN all the way to the edge of St Louis.

You should be able to get 720 almost all the way. I can sometimes get 720 on the west side of STL so I think you should be fine.

 

Edit: I know there used to be a FM station out of Highland, IL that would broadcast the Cubs game, but I don't know the call letters or if they do it still. If you can't get 720 all the way that might be an option. It was in the 80's or low 90's on the dial I think.

I know in the winter on a clear night you can, but my car's AM antenna isn't that good and the somewhat cloudy and humid weather won't help.
