I agree...it's very tempting to look at the horrid losses and key injuries and throw up your hands and say "season over" (and I'm just as tempted as anyone else...but I kinda feel like this is a "this too will pass" situation. The Cubs started very shaky in 2007 and the Cardinals started very good last year too, while the Cubs weren't bad, but weren't world beaters yet.

 

I think once the hits start falling, the defense will relax a little, and everyone will get healthy. Cincy and Pitt will definitely not be in 2nd/3rd at season's end, and I really can't imagine the Cardinals can pixie dust this way all season. I think it may be rough for a while, but the wins will come. And it's April.

I might. Hendry failed every move he made this offseason. Our bullpen is a disaster. Our hitting blows. Our SP isn't as good as it was last year.

 

I really hope you stop being a Cubs fan because you act like a 5 year old who doesn't get the toy he wants when the Cubs are losing. Your gonna give youself a heart attack if your freaking out this much over the first 15 games of the season. Three freaking games ago very few people were freaking about this team. Three loses later which were close games for most part and people can't handle themselves. We still have another 147 more games relax, your acting pathetic. Freaking out after 40-50 games is bad enough doing it after 15 is insane. I know your not the only one so I don't mean to pick on you but relax. Go do something else with your time don't live and die on every freaking game. I really need to stay away from Cubs message boards when the Cubs is playing poor these comments make me wanna throw up.

I'm so sick and damn tired of games like this happening to us, and I'm sick and damn tired of things like "the errant pickoff throw hits the ump to keep the runner from moving" happening to the Cardinals.

 

I'm rapidly losing patience with this team and even more so with this manager.
