I don't get the love for Blair.

After winning all those titles with no scoring in the front court, we Bulls fans have concluded skilled big men are for the birds.

This must be true because you never see Bulls fans talking about trading for the Amare Stoudemire's or Chris Bosh's of the world.

As for Blair, he rebounds. The Bulls are one of the very worst defensive rebounding teams in the league and rebounding translates better than just about any other skill set from college to the pros. He'll be a solid, unspectacular player for a long time. I don't think anyone is claiming he's a franchise player or is expecting one to be there at #16.

Also, RealGM says Clips may be looking to offer us Randolph, Kaman or Camby for Hinrich. Think we could also have Eric Gordon to replace the other Gordon?

They add Eric Gordon and I am done with them.

Why? He's basically Ben from 4 years ago:

Gordon's rookie stat line

Don't get me wrong - I'd prefer to replace Ben Gordon with Chris Bosh and start Salmons at SG, but I don't know how realistic that is.

Eric Gordon to the Bulls would be absolutely hilarious. I would love for it to happen; it would be a much better situation for him than the Clippers. It's not going to happen, of course.

I really want the Pacers to take Blair. I think the point guards that would be left are all rather fungible (though I do have my preferences, not sure any are worth No. 13, even in this draft).

I can't stand him. No basketball reason really.

I want them to trade the pick for LeBron.

I don't get why a lot of Illinois fans still can't stand him. Thanks to him, he hurt Indiana's program much more than he could have helped the Illini for one year.

Gordon's one of the only ones on the team that didn't hurt the program. It had nothing to do with him. Everyone else on the team (outside of DJ White and the walkons), but mainly Sampson hurt Indiana's program.

Oh I think he hurt you. The light was kinda shown on your programs recruiting after his fiasco. Even though an intern caught Sampson. I almost wonder how bad things would have gotten had she not reported him?

Well since I always kinda respected IU's program before EJ and Kelvin i guess that would be reason to hate him. Plus he's a creep, he handled the situation all wrong and I just don't like him or his family. After the Bulls have done nothing but draft Dukies and Jayhawks, this would probably be the final straw for me jumping over to the Jazz as a full time fan.

Hey, he's back!

If Memphis is dumb enough to take Thabeet over Rubio (and they absolutely are), they deserve what they get.

Keep dreaming on that scenario.

If Rubio slides to No. 3, the Thunder would take him, but then could potentially ship him to the Wizards for the No. 5 pick and Andray Blatche, according to ESPN.

his agent said that, not rubio

his agent also said that about the bucks drafting yi, and they did anyway and he signed.

and memphis has long been rumored to like thabeet more than rubio and even griffin

I might become an OKC fan if Chase Budinger becomes a Bull.

I'd love to see Jrue go top 5.

He'd be a great value at 26. Probably wishful thinking on my part; wouldn't be surprised to see him go higher.

Memphis is likely to take Thabeet. They want size and specifically size as a defensive presence. At point guard, they have Mike Conley who performed quite well down the stretch (likely exceeding my rather low expectations for him coming into the league). O.J. Mayo also could prospectively move to point guard. Their need for Rubio is not great, as he would be replacing one or two competent players (yes Marc Gasol is competent, but not a defensive presence). If Thabeet could provide defense and rebounding, he could offer greater improvements. The pick would make some sense, especially seeing as there are concerns about Rubio's transition, specifically defensively.

didn't chase jump 38.5 at the combine? he would instantly be the best american born white player in the NBA

also, i really wish tyreke evans didn't look like an idiot when he shoots a jumper. he'd be the second best prospect in the draft.
