while you're at it, who are the notable seniors?

I was thinking of doing that too, I'll edit it into the first post.

For now, Harangody seems to appear headed back to school, although Mike Brey, in an apparent bid to make certain he loses his job at the end of next season, has recommended that he test the waters: Link

Harangody would be stupid to not test the waters. He's a junior, there's no harm in going to the camps and then removing your name.

:hello:

ETA: Jamelle Cornley not even in their top 80 seniors. Ouch. Good luck in Greece, Jamelle

He's a 6'5" power forward, he'd get eaten alive.

I don't think he will be a good pro at all but he can test the waters and get the feedback of what teams think of him so he knows what to work on.

He's a senior.

Thank you. I missed a number of those declarations. Guess no longer subscribing to a newspaper has its downfalls.

I hadn't heard and am surprised by Evan Turner (especially) and Willie Warren at least not testing the waters.

I always take the "returning" section with a grain of salt. Flynn was in that column and he sounded pretty adamant when he was saying he'd return and then the story that he was testing the waters came out yesterday.

Wow, Carroll generously listed as the 30th best Senior on that list. Lyons at 49 should be higher, he at least has the ability and size to eventually make a roster.

Is that really that flattering? It means, he'll be lucky to get drafted, and if he does, teams see him as a role player/energy guy (which is a role where he could succeed)

Cornley has said on record that he would be willing to try TE in the NFL.

I know he's like 7 foot, but B.J. Mullens was incredibly bad this year. He plays so soft and looks completely complacent out there. He'll get drafted on his height alone and the fact he is still 19/20, but I don't see him making it in the NBA.

Yeah, he really, really isn't very good right now. I was a little bit disappointed about him entering. But, supposedly he comes from a poor family, so I definitely can't blame the guy. If Turner comes back it would be awesome, though. :)

Not really, my point was that even that was a stretch. Carroll was the most important player on Mizzou, but as a pro all he can do is make running hook shots, and he can only defend NBA SFs.

Disappointing that Terrence Williams seems to have shot up to the lottery, I had him in mind for the Cavs pick this year.

Yeah I don't blame the guy for entering, especially because he knows he is going to probably be a top 20 pick, if his family needs money/isn't well off. There were rumblings that he wasn't liking how he was handled at OSU so that could also play into it. I probably saw at least 10 OSU games this year and he showed me very little that convinced me he has staying power in the NBA. The best thing he has going for him right now is that he is 7 foot and young, skill and attitude wise I think he has a ways to go.

Yeah he reminded me of JaJuan in his freshman year in regards to toughness. You could see JaJuan had potential but he was physical enough to be effective consistently. Mullens could really benefit from another year but if its a money thing I completely understand.
