My final four is Louisville, Memphis, Villanova and UNC with Memphis beating Villanova in the title game am a Louisville fan so id like to see them win but if they don't win Villanova would be alright too.

Well it was pretty dumb when they have the lead and can just hold onto the ball and get fouled and make it a 3-4 point game there. There was what? 20 seconds left in the game? Would have made Pitt HAVE to foul... why risk the turnover (which obviously happened) when you're up by 2 with 20 seconds left and have possession?

 

(a) it was 10 or 11 seconds

(b) hold onto the ball where? out of bounds? i'm pretty sure you can't do that for longer than 5 seconds without it being a turnover. the correct play would have been to call time out when the primary passes were covered and the deep guy was covered.

 

again, it's not risking a turnover if nobody covers the deep man and he's wide open. you throw the ball down there, if it's off by a bit he goes and gets it. the only way it's risking a turnover is if you throw it to him when he's being covered. that's why it was stupid, not because jay wright called an inbounds play with a deep option.

Jay Wright is one of the best coaches in the nation. The kid made a dumb pass, thankfully it didn't cost Nova. I know he's a Philly guy and he should have another great team next season, but if UK isn't trying whatever they can to hire Wright, they are dumb.

I only have UConn and Nova left in my bracket, but I have them playing in the championship game. So tomorrow I will be rooting against Louisville and UNC since a lot of people have them winning it all.

If Lawson were still injured I'd think you'd have a real shot. With him back I think UNC SHOULD win, but in any given game you never know.

It's really been the Suton show in the 1st half. He's everywhere. If it wasn't for him MSU would be getting killed. Lucas has been awful, especially defensively.

MSU's guards are behaving very oddly, like they think that the people defending them are vastly better at stealing the ball than they are at dribbling it, and getting themselves into really stupid situations as a result
