  1. god ryan theriot is such a stupid, stupid defensive player. love his game at the plate, but such a dumb guy in the field.
  2. Huh? the foe feature is a magical thing. lol, you mean the wrigley usher doesn't see my posts?! how tragic. keener---didnt mean to be a "prick" (thanks for being one yourself)... just seems that bruce is thought awfully highly of here... since he's so "in tune" with nsbb, you'd think people here would implore him to ask tough questions. yet they don't. and he doesn't. Bruce is a guest here who provides us with information, why do you have such a problem with him? If the question is asked, hell all Lou will do is get pissed and act like a "hard ass" like he has in every previous year. what? i've got no problem with him at all. the only reason i mentioned his name specifically is cause he posts here. if sullivan did, i woulda said his name, etc. more so than you probably think.

We probably shouldn't tell him how to do his job. i'm always open for suggestions on how to do my job. anyone who isn't simply isn't open to improving themselves.
  4. I'm fairly confident that will be asked i sure hope so but unfortunately whoever asks it will say "lou, why miles in the 8th?" and accept his answer and leave it at that rather than asking a "tough question". know what i mean? you don't seem to understand how press conferences work. you don't ask the manager a question and then get into a shouting match because you disagree with him. who said anything about a shouting match? for once, i would just like to see a chicago reporter actually ask a tough question and have lou answer it. i get that they wanna remain on lou's good side for access rights and all that jazz, but still... beat your competition by asking tough questions. your columns will be more popular by doing so.

  7. has the golden boy bruce miles ever asked lou a tough question? i.e. what the hell were you thinking re: miles over haufpauir?
  8. nice! despite this awful managing over the last inning, we're only three outs from a victory!
  9. lou's been spending too much time with his buddy TLR
  10. how dare he only get one out! wah, wah, wah. no chance of turning two with cameron running down the line.
  11. i thought it was gonna bounce off his head jose canseco style. jeter would've caught that one, dlee.
  12. doesn't bumping old threads here get you banned? oh christ, vizcaino? just let the brewers take the lead quickly if they're going to so i can turn this off and get out for the night
  13. i would honestly rather leave marmol in, even if i knew he would K on three pitches. now we get... marshall as our setup man. just a stupid decision on so many levels.
  14. why in the hell would miles bat there? a) hoffpauir... enough said b) gathright is you want speed c) now your emergency catcher is done seriously, wtf lou?
  15. milton bradley is so awesome. and it's just a matter of time before lee is moved down, provided that ramirez is still ramirez and soto gets more seasoning.
  16. theriot is having one hell of a start to the season at the plate.
  17. the ump rang up hardy on a pitch that missed by a foot. if the strike zone is that inconsistent you're really rolling the dice by letting a pitch go that misses the outside corner by 3 inches. Hardy's was a borderline pitch, but it's on a different plane. You have to take that, it was well outside and again, nothing has been called out there all day. If he swings everyone gets pissed at Lee for popping up to the right side or rolling into a double play. Moreover, there wasn't much he could actually do with that pitcher other than foul it off. Would you have preferred to see him swing and miss? How about a weak hit to Prince Fielder? Maybe an easy ground ball to Hardy? right, cause a liner down the right field line isn't at all possible.
  18. harden is dealing! need to get this man some runs. how many pitches is that for him?
