does anyone really doubt that dusty is pressuing his GM (forgot his name) to look into this?

You think Walt Jocketty would trade for Pierre?

doubt it. but i'd be surprised if dusty didn't approach him about it.

what? you have pretty selective memory if that's what you associate alou with. moises was a great hitter. just couldn't stay healthy, of course.

Moises was failed check swing grounder to the right side.

Pierre seems like a juicer to me. New drug testing rules correlate directly to his drastic decline. Maybe coincidence maybe not? True he never had any sort of power but lots of speed guys rely on roids and various blood builders to stay at peak performance and increase speed, recovery time, and strength. For Pierre a step or a step and half is all the difference between being an allstar and riding the pine for the dodgers. Just kind of thinking out loud here...

moises was a great hitter.

Not with the Cubs he wasn't.

his 2004 was pretty awesome, even though he was clearly juicing

Love the title "Juan "groundout to second" Pierre wants out."

I guess .300 career hitter and 50 SB threat were already taken.

i prefer ".330 OBP the last 3 seasons and an OPS under .700 and he's due $28.5M the next 3 years"

no it's just the one that implies he sucks is a better choice than the one that implies he doesn't

He's gotten 200+ hits in multiple seasons too

In almost 700 ABs...

At this point I'd rather have Gathright over Pierre. Even if the contracts were equal.

Man, that sure spells out how far Mighty Juan has fallen...

What about the final piece of the triplets..........Michael Bourne?

To be honest, I'd rather give WWE's Evan Bourne (aka Matt Sydal) a glove and see what happens than any of the above...
