Nicks to the Giants at 29, which leaves Britt as the next best receiver available. I'm really doubting at this point Britt falls to the 49th pick.

I could do nothing but laugh when they showed Beanie Wells on the phone during the Titans' pick.

 

I like the Britt pick, though. Technically I would have preferred Rey Maualuga (top choice) or Darius Butler/Alphonso Smith, but I'm quite happy with Britt.

 

Now for Marcus Freeman or DJ Moore in the second round and this will be a great day.

Yeah that was about the only player other then him they could have taken that wouldnt have upset me. So I am ok with the pick. Now if they can add a wide receiver, rb, or DB in the 3rd round I will be happy.

Why does Everette Brown keep falling? Orakpo slipping a little but. The 4-3 DE doesn't seem to have the same premier draft positioning it has in other years. It seems a lot of teams are looking at the 3-4 DE/OLB types. Could be the talent isn't that great this year.

Broncos trade next years first rounder (not sure if its from the Cutler trade) for Seattle's 37th pick and get Alphonso Smith.

I would like to see the Bears go with Michael Johnson at 49. And with the way Brown has fallen it looks quite possible.

I was talking with one of my friends, who is also a fellow Titans fan, and joked we'd take Beanie because we are that stupid. Then they showed him on his phone 30 seconds later and we were livid. We were ready to go to Nashville and light ourselves on fire in protest, monk-style.

 

I really like the pick. He's a good, strong receiver and I think he'll fit well in the system.

Brown can rush the passer but he can't be depended at all to play the run even remotely well. I would guess the stigma of being a Florida St. DE has also made teams hesitant to pick him early.

if you're one of the worst teams in NFL history, you don't really have the luxury of spending a first round pick on a TE and Delmas is a gambler. Jerry/Oher/Vontae Davis and Mauluga would have been so much smarter.
