So with my search, I'm not picking another AFC team or a team that made the playoffs last year, eliminating the Giants, Eagles, Vikings, Panthers, Falcons and Cardinals. I won't root for Dallas because of the circus there, Washington (Daniel Snyder would be nearly as annoying as Al Davis) Detroit (pathetic as well), Tampa Bay (the Super Bowl), St. Louis (it's St. Louis) or Seattle (old Raider rivalry).

 

That leaves Chicago, Green Bay, New Orleans and San Francisco as my choices.

 

Don't pick Green Bay.

 

Don't listen to this guy.

 

If I were you, I'd pick San Fran.

you cant be both a raider and 49er fan.

 

Hah, everyone I know from the Bay are both Raider and 49er fans.

I figured that as well, but he didn't list the Niners in the NFC teams he wouldn't cheer for and he listed the Seahawks on there because of an old rivalry with Oakland.

I think I'm starting to smell CB for the Colts at 27 -- figuring one or maybe even both of Vontae Davis or Alphonso Smith will be left.

Yeah he's up and coming. But you look at the numbers Rivers put up last year and you'd think a WR corps of Jackson, Floyd, Chambers, etc. is pretty ordinary. I'm hoping Cutler will have a similar effect on the Bears.

I'm honestly leaning towards going with the Bears right now with the Niners behind them.

 

Not sure if I could go with the Saints because they seem to have that tortured franchise thing going for them and I'm not sure I could double up in two sports with that.

 

The Niners would obviously be easier since they would be a local team and I'd get to watch all of their games.
