I'm definitely picking a new team (from the NFC) to root for in addition to the Raiders until Al Davis croaks.

So with my search, I'm not picking another AFC team or a team that made the playoffs last year, eliminating the Giants, Eagles, Vikings, Panthers, Falcons and Cardinals. I won't root for Dallas because of the circus there, Washington (Daniel Snyder would be nearly as annoying as Al Davis) Detroit (pathetic as well), Tampa Bay (the Super Bowl), St. Louis (it's St. Louis) or Seattle (old Raider rivalry).

 

That leaves Chicago, Green Bay, New Orleans and San Francisco as my choices.

This was a great pick. Their focus needed to be to improve their defense.

They were basically picking up guys off the street by the end of last year. All their backs kept getting hurt.

 

On the other hand, their running attack was pretty effective (because CUTLER YEAH) but their defense was historically bad.
