Yup, Carolina traded up to get him. I don't see the Bears risking trading down if they want DE (Johnson or Gilbert)

Gilbert's more of a 3-4 end or 4-3 DT. With no WR worthy of taking, I'd probably trade down anyway.

Ah, didn't know that. Do they not like Johnson or is he just not worthy of 49?

So on my way home from the UCD baseball game, I was listening to local sports talk radio and the host had a sound bite from Tom Cable that I'm assuming is from today.

Cable said that he was told by scouts that "(DHB) is a Randy Moss-type".

After laughing/shouting at Cable for a few minutes, the only thing I can think of is that Cable was referring to the type of player Randy Moss was while he was in Oakland.

What a joke of a franchise.

Johnson isn't really worth the 49th pick. He puts up great measurables but is extremely inconsistent with the effort he shows when actually playing. He's much more of a workout warrior than football player.

Good chance both Massaquoi and Iglesias are going to be there at 49.

Good chance both will be there at 59, which is why I want to trade down. If they stay, I'd say it's MAssaquoi or Johnson-DE.

Why is this William Moore guy falling? I wouldn't mind seeing the Bears pick up a S.

#48 is up, Bears pick is next.

He was hurt last year and the coaches moved him out of position from the year before, when he had huge numbers. He's a freak of an athlete and I'd take him now over the WRs that are left.

I think it's fair to say that has to be the biggest reach in the draft thus far. When you draft someone early in the second and most draft sites have no analysis on him, then that can't be a good thing. Then again it's the Raiders we're talking about.
