so does this finally mean that Lee will be dropped in the order, or is Bradley going to be slotted in at #2 or #5?

I'd like to see this, I think:

Soriano

Lee

Bradley

Ramirez

Soto

Fontenot

Fuku/Johnson

Theriot

Id like to see:

Soriano

Theriot

Ramirez

Soto

Bradley

Lee

DeRosa

Fukudome/Johnson

The fact is, between Furcal, Roberts, and Peavy, I will never believe another done deal until the involved player is at the press conference wearing his Cubs hat holding up his Cubs jersey.

Playing with the line-ups is fun, but I don't see anyway Lee doesn't start the season as the number 3 hitter. He hit there all of last year and in 2007 and I'm sure the Cubs believe he will have a bounce back season. He could get move down during the season, if isn't hitting better. But to start the season I'm pretty sure we will see something like this

Soriano

Theriot or Fukudome/Johnson

Lee

Ramirez

Bradley

Soto

DeRosa or Fontenot(depending on if we trade DeRosa or not)

Fukudome/Johnson or Theriot

Bottom of the order seems a bit lacking. We'll have to see if those guys can repeat. If Fuku figures it out, then we'll be fine.

Yeah, I debated putting Lee below Ramirez or below Soto if Theriot/Fontenot can repeat or Fuku bounces back and they could go in at 2.

SOmebody on another board said Levine said the deal "might be announced next week", which is pretty funny.

so it's a done deal

but we'll hear about it next week

maybe

sounds about right.

Well, the MLB is closed until the 2nd I believe so nothing can be official until at least then.

Wow, what a night!

Late December back in '63.

What a very special time for me,

'Cause I remember what a night.

Oh, what a night.

You know, I didn't even know her name,

But I was never gonna be the same.

What a lady. What a night.

Oh, I. I got a funny feeling when she walked

In the room and I,

As I recall it ended much too soon.

2B DeRosa

3B Ramirez

C Soto

RF Bradley

LF Soriano

1B Lee

SS Theriot

Pitcher

the only thing i would change is every player in that lineup

I think he nailed Theriot.
