I have to admit, I'm worried about ISU. Our lines (D & O) are just not getting the job done.

Iowa State isn't exactly a team that can expose those weaknesses. If KU can get a decent pass rush ISU will be in trouble, since they haven't shown the capacity to run the ball yet. The defensive line has a few pass rushers, but is pretty weak against the run. If the team that played the 2nd half against UNLV shows up it could be close, but if the team that had 38 total yards in the 1st half of that game plays, Kansas can name the score.

Kansas has had no pass rush. And ISU can be feisty in Ames.

Wow, is there any question that Florida is going to throttle Arkansas? I almost feel bad for Petrino. Well, ok, I don't. POS is getting what he deserves.

Kentucky vs. Bama should be an interesting game, similar teams as far as relying on the running game and defenses. Obviously, Bama's win vs. Georgia was huge and they deserve to be top 5 team. The wins vs. Clemson and Arkansas were big as well, but I'm not sold on the quality of either team. With that said, UK hasn't beaten anyone and doesn't have near the talent nor coaching as Bama. Despite somewhat of a letdown after last week, I have Bama winning 24-10.

I agree for the most part. I think Kentucky much like Tennessee and Ole Miss for Alabama the next two weeks will be trap games for Bama. As much as I respect Rich Brooks, the only area of the game that Kentucky needs to exploit to keep this game in check is the Special teams. Offensively, I think Alabama is going to push Kentucky's front four around like rags, maybe not early, but eventually they will. Kentucky's offense is much like the Chicago Bear's offense in that they need their special teams to set them up, cause quite frankly Kentucky has essentially no offensive players of note. If Alabama defense can keep forcing 3 and outs on Kentucky and forces Kentucky's D to play more then they should then this game will get out of hand quickly. Add in the fact that Bryant Denny Stadium is going to be rocking this Saturday, I think you might see (let me stress MIGHT SEE) Kentucky rattled at the beginning of the game.

Ultimately, I think Kentucky gives Alabama heck of a fight, but their lack of offense hurts them in the end.

Alabama 31

Kentucky 7

I'm hopeful that going to the Notre Dame game tomorrow will cheer me up more regarding the Cubs. It's gonna be football weather - way colder than it's been through September. I'm looking forward to it.
