well, as disappointing as that game is, I'll take heart in the fact we were down 20-0 at the half, and scored 35 points on the road in the second half to win. Better teams than this KU squad (OU last year, and I believe MU, too) have struggled in Ames. Still, it's pretty clear that wasn't just the Ames magic that kept it close. Our D line is a joke, and our secondary got burned several times, from what I've read. Edited by snoodmonger

how can you not like tim tebow the person, he just said yes sir to the guy interviewing him on raycom sports.

 

I mean come on, Tebow once got a Division 1A school of a major conference school to basically sleep on his lawn the night before Signing Day a few yrs ago.

 

Oh.......that man that did this....was Mike Shula........

 

How can you not like a young male, to get old males to sleep on their grass?

ISU played us tough last year but it was in Columbia. We won 42-28. Two years ago, we lost in Ames (I use the term lost loosely here).

I don't think he got the foot down, but there's no way it gets overturned. Michigan woulda just scored their 3rd TD of the drive anyway.

 

Vontae Davis has been really disappointing this year.

He has been, but don't forget the front seven has got as much pressure on opposing quarterbacks as you and I have.

Yeah. I can't remember a week this bad since...well, probably the ISU-Kansas game 3 years ago. If you told me going in that Iowa State would lose 35-33 I'd probably be happy, but considering they blew a 20 point lead and pulled another fake rally, it really sucks.
