LSU and Auburn will be a way low scoring game....By the way did anyone watch the ending of that Auburn and Miss St? Literally the worst offensive game of all time...Auburn fumbled on like 3 straight possessions yet Miss St. didn't score off any of them. This game should be good though

Mississippi State's defense looked great, but Auburn's offense did make a huge amount of mistakes as well. It may end up working, but that Tony Franklin spread offense isn't cutting it in Auburn right now.

Exactly....I have a feeling this game will be either be an LSU blow out by like 3 touchdowns....or Auburn wins in a close one like 10-6

Unless Auburn's offense gets better it'll have to be that way for them. I'm wondering if this is one gamble Tuberville may lose.

Hopefully Iowa State can rebound from their awful red zone performance against Iowa. Outgaining Iowa 325-244 doesn't matter much when you get 0 points from two trips inside the 5 yard line. The playcalling there was terrible.

Oh well, @UNLV is next on the schedule. Looks like a pretty even matchup on paper, though UNLV did just upset Arizona State. Ultimately I hope UNLV gets their butts kicked for the bush league protest stunt they pulled 2 years ago in Ames. For those who missed it (probably everyone), UNLV was down 6 on the last play of the game. UNLV's receiver caught the ball in the endzone, but came down about a yard out of bounds, not a very close call at all. That didn't stop UNLV's coach from trying to track down the refs in their locker room, attempting to get a replay. The play was, in fact, quickly reviewed in the booth like every other play that year, a memo the coach obviously didn't receive. Here's a

(nsfw) of what happened after that. Took them about 15 minutes to finally give up and leave the field.

I'd really like to see Iowa beat a good team

If only they played one this week.

it should still give us a better idea of where this team is. Maine and Florida International have provided a lot of the same competition we could have gotten from some of the D3 schools around here, and Iowa State is probably looking at another long season.

by the way, I wasn't implying Pitt was good. it was subtle bitching about the lack of quality opponents early in the season. I'm expecting this team to host Wisconsin with a 6-1 or 7-0 record

They have 3 road games against decent teams (Pitt, Michigan State and to a lesser degree Indiana) between now and then. 3-0 would be pretty impressive.

Until we figure out who the quarterback is I cant see us winning any of those games. If we are 6-1 heading into the Wisconsin game I would be thrilled.

Indiana versus Ball State - first test of the season for IU. I'm not sure what to make of the Hoosiers yet. The defense has looked improved but it is hard to say that is really the case due to the low level of competition so far. Ball State will certainly test the defense and we'll see what is what.

Getting to 3-0 heading into the Big Ten opener with MSU would be nice.

I'm not so sure LSU-Auburn will be that low scoring. LSU has a decent offense, even if it is run-oriented. I expect them to put up at least 21.

Good chance for Mizzou to move up again, the two teams in front of them have road games against good programs.

Wouldn't be surprised if LSU jumped us if they beat Auburn on the road.

It won't matter in the end. LSU will finish the season with a few losses, and most likely behind Mizzou.

Heading into Wisconsin 7-0 or 6-1 would be pretty impressive. I think Pitt and MSU are going to beat us. Unless one of our QB's starts playing better we're not going to score that much (the D has been pretty damn good though, let's see if they can stop some real offenses at some point)

That's what I'm trying to say...I'm saying that the only way Auburn wins is if they hold LSU under 14 I'd say. Unless Auburn shows something different with the offense.

I don't see any reason this team cannot beat all 3, but I wouldn't be surprised with a loss to MSU or Indiana. I don't see how they can lose to Pitt.

You don't see how? They're a very talented (even if they're poorly coached) team that was preseason top 25 for a reason. We're playing in their stadium and we don't have our quarterback situation settled in any way.

YOU'RE ALL MORONS ESPN EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!

It's 4th down here, you don't call the time out and give Colorado the ball back at midfield. IDIOTS YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS.

Agreed, the last 2 minutes were filled with awful clock management, but that decision was obviously the right move.

IDK if anybody has heard this but Auburn's dean of students, Johnny Green basically has begged the fans not to booed either Tony Franklin or the team this weekend. Playing a team in the top 10 on National TV with a coach that has promised the world, and has delivered crap, you can see the writing on the wall.

vance, LSU should put up atleast 30 points against Auburn, if for nothing else AU's offense will give LSU extra possessions to work with. I'd say LSU wins 38-10.
