Locker ran it in but he got called for an absolutely BOGUS unsportsmanlike conduct. It pushed the PAT out to the 18 or whatever and it got blocked.

 

Just an inexcusable call that cost them a chance at the game.

 

yeah unless someone whips out his johnson and pees on an opponent, you have to let it go.

yeah unless someone whips out his johnson and pees on an opponent, you have to let it go.

 

It really wasnt even bad enough to deserve a flag in a regular situation. He just kind of flipped the ball into the air. Things way worse than that go uncalled every week.

It's not like the Washington kicker missed the PAT. It got BLOCKED. How does the field position matter in a blocked kick?

In fact consider kicking the Big East out of the BCS. This is embarrassing for everyone watching.

Without knowing how good their kicker is, generally as you get farther away the lower the trajectory of the kick. If it was a regular PAT it would have been kicked much higher.

Angles on the kick change. The further out, the lower the kick needs to be for proper distance.

 

But I really don't know physics that well, so I could be wrong.

From watching the angle on TV, it looked like there was massive penetration by BYU. If that play took place on the 3 yard line, I think they still get the block.

ACC is looking awful but the Big 10 does beat out the Big East, fairly easily

 

I dont want to get into that discussion though, but it should be obvious

I haven't seen either game. How good is ECU, really?

They've played 2 teams that were absurdly overranked, but they are very good and also looked pretty impressive in their bowl game last year

 

the main point is the ACC and Big east are awful

Not bottom feeders anymore. Ole Miss has a real deal QB in Jevan Snead and an actual coach in Houston Nutt. Ole Miss should surprise some people this year.

My student tickets are MIA, so I guess I'm here for the Iowa game. The Ricky Stanzi era begins!

 

And what an era it may be!

 

8-10 162 yards 3 TDs

5 rushes for 30 yards!

 

 

This QB controversy is ovah!

 

We'll see what he does next week against some real (okay fairly real) competition.

 

But yeah Stanzi has been the man.
