Looks like SIU and Missouri have verbally agreed to play each other in 2012. Yuck, I was enjoying these games against winnable I-A opponents like Indiana and NIU in recent years. Northwestern next week could be a winnable game as well; same with Marshall and Ole Miss a little bit down the road.

But playing Illinois in 2010 and Missouri in 2012 is going to be bad. Very bad.

Huh. Is it just one year? Any idea if it's neutral or at either Mizzou/SIU?

Um, Navy can't defense Ball State at all so I'm going out on a limb and saying the Cards will cruise in this one. The Navy QB can't complete a pass either, not even to wide open receivers. Nice.

Indiana versus Ball State next week should be a good one.

It's a 1-AA opponent, it's going to be in Columbia.

Hmm...I don't think I realized SIU was 1-AA.

I live about a quarter mile from the stadium and I'm hearing the crowd react several seconds before anything happens on tv.

Few option qb's can throw the ball well. Still feeling good? This might be a last possesion wins game.

They arent, they are Div 1 - Championship Subdivision. And dont make this mistake again, either of you. :club: :club: :club:

They're pulling away. They'll end up winning this comfortably.

I guess, one goal line stand was the difference.

I didn't realize how little time was left when I said that. It had the feel that BSU would have kept pulling away if there was more time.

Its weird having a Ball State team that somewhat relevant nationally.

If you were an Eastern Illinois fan and had to keep dealing with them beating you in close games, you would know it too well :(

Except last year when we blew you guys out

Yeah it's unfortunate we're I-AA, but I don't really mind it all that much. We'll have a new stadium by 2012, so we'll see if that will lead to bigger things.

Um, no, they aren't. They're the Football Championship Subdivision, and don't YOU make this mistake again. :D

If not for a couple of oddly horrible throws by Davis, we could've easily blown the Middies out. I'll take 35-23, though. :D 2-0 for the first time in 13 years.

Akron next week, should be a walk. Then the big IU game.

Still feeling good? I'm not a Ball State fan so I'm not sure why I would feel good one way or the other. It just seemed like a blowout in the making from what I saw early in the game. Props to Navy for making it more competitive.

Holy crap this sucks. I really wish I was in Columbia and tailgating for the Mizzou game right now, even if we are playing some crap school.

Going to the Stadium today to watch ND. I was already going next week for UM and I just got an extra ticket for today. Sweet.

Ohio State and Wisconsin look like they got caught looking ahead to their west coast road trips

Edit: Bobcats take the lead with their backup QB. 7-3

I wasn't there last year, sadly. I was there when our freaking steel-handed receiver dropped a ball 10 yards behind every defender that would have turned the game around a few years ago :(
