Yeah, Ryan Theriot should play 162 games a year. Or we should get a starting caliber SS to get 150 ABs a year.

While we don't need starter quality, it would be nice to have a player who is somewhat competent...

 

Yeah there's gotta be some sort of freely available talent that is a good defensive SS with an ~85 OPS+ who can run a little.

I agree, but if the offense continues to look as bad as they have most of the game to this point, I wouldn't put this game in that category.
