CUBS are 63-37 when they hit at least 1 double.... 6-10 when they don't

Go CUBS !!

We have, indeed, doubled a bunch this year.

4 pitches, 2 outs.

5 bucks says Carp's out of this by the 6th pitch.

I don't understand the aggressiveness against a pitcher who is 2 starts removed (before tonight) from getting off the DL. IDK who's gameplan this was, but it is stupid. The Cubs need to make Carpenter throw atleast 4 pitches per batter, not 2.

This offense seems to be much more of a feast or famine type than they were in the first half. Much more reminiscent of 07 than of this season's unbeatables.

Check P/PA second half vs. first half.

What are they?

How many hands do I have ???

Oh I took your statement as if you were saying that you had the numbers there was quite a difference (or little difference).

This feels like a stupid thing to say, but I'd feel better about this game if the Cubs' other scoreless innings were more like that one.

It's only a matter of time before they plate a couple. I hate when we waste RISP opps like this.

Fred, pull up some stat that says we're guaranteed to win this one. 1 run lead is making me too nervous ;)

i swear, we are the slowest team going down the line that i've ever seen. an opposing team can have a birthday party for their pet monkey and then throw us out.

David Eckstein could be playing third base, bobble the ball and still throw us out.

After having Juan Pierre running fast for a year, I can handle this.
