I think the streak of 10K is going to end today :(

That's on my belief he'll get pulled after 6 no matter what.

I have never been happier to be wrong. I HATED the Edmonds signing. Hated it. I wanted Pie to play CF and even if he got hurt, I didn't want Edmonds near this team because it looked like he had absolutely nothing left.

I was wrong.

I agree man, I thought he was completely tapped out.

The scouts must have seen something we missed, they did say they changed his stance back to the wider one right?

Same here.

Do you pull Harden after next inning (assuming a 5 run lead) and bring in Marshall? Or do you let him go 7?

With this lead, I have faith in Marshall, I'd pull Harden after 6.

He stopped taking his meds for concussion symptoms after he got released. Said it really helped him out.

i didnt see Edmonds first one but caught the grand slam. i didnt think it was a home run when he hit and as it developed hoped for a double. the HR was awesome.

It's pretty awesome that Harden has 0 BB and 7 K's and he hasn't pitched his best. It's like he falls behind on purpose so he can be challenged.

The first one was a no doubter. To RF none the less (which is rare anymore from Jimmy)

Hahahah really? Never would have guessed that

What's Harden's pitch limit? Around 100?

I would assume that's the "target." He's gone 96, 112, and 87 in his 3 starts with us.

The 112 was the one start @ the D'backs where he came out for the seventh.

I was just checking on WSI..Theres a topic on this..

ESPN 890 in Boston which is a second fiddle to powerhouse WEEI is reporting that with the Marlins deal dead Theo has offered Manny to the White Sox for Ken Griffey and would pay the 7 million left on Manny's contract.

Manny for Griffey isn't a good trade.

If you're dead set on getting rid of Manny it's not awful.

Griffey is hitting .245/.355/.432 this season...

Manny is hitting .299/.398/.529 this season...

Yeah, that'd be a bad trade.

It's real nice we don't have to see Cub killer Jason Bay this weekend..

The News

The Rays have acquired Jason Bay from the Pirates in exchange for shortstop prospect Reid Brignac and pitching prospect Jeff Niemann, according to MLBlogs.com.

Our View

We're waiting for confirmation on this, but it appears to be a done deal.

I can't remember having more confidence in a pitcher's ability than I do Harden. Granted, he can usually only go 6-7 innings, but I'm extremely confident that he'll allow only 1 or 2 runs tops in those innings. The guy is nearly unhittable.

Lee and Ramirez are 0 for the last 2 games of this series so far.

I love how it doesn't even really matter

They both have their share of walks though.

They still have Nate McClouth, who has firmly taken that title
