what happeend to Edmonds?

Listening to the radio it sounded like JE tweaked his ankle crossing the 1st base bag. The trainer came out but Edmonds stayed in the game.

I dont think I could handle another major injury.

Actually he tripped coming out of the box. looks like after he swung and tried to take his first step he landed wrong and did something to his ankle/calf/lower leg.

Is he still in the game?

Yes

Sounds like nothing to worry about then. If a guy with Jimmys injury history were hurting at all, Lou would pull him as a precaution.

Maybe it's the weather. This feeling is like its 2006 or something, I hate it.

really? the first place, best record in baseball 2008 cubs remind you of the 96-loss 2006 cubs?

sorry, dudes, but it is really, really hard to stomach these threads. try enjoying the season a bit.

He's just saying he gets a weird feeling right now. Haven't you ever gotten a creepy feeling in real life where you feel like something is wrong even though nothing is?

+1

But for me personally, when I feel something is wrong and it's not, something else goes wrong very, very soon. Kinda eerily.

Let's hope this isn't the case for the Cubs :(

Soto still .225/.304/.391/.695 in his last 43 games (since May 5th)

Yeah, at least offensively, Soto is not quite the god everyone expected him to be.

It's cause the league has figured him out. And he hasn't made the adjustments.

He's showing signs of breaking out of the slump lately. He's been hitting the ball hard. The real problem is that he's not drawing walks anymore.

I'm going to blame Lou if we lose this game. He was probably focusing too much on his rapping skills.

I'm still waiting for the sparks to fly from our Cubbie bats.

I just drove home from work. While driving I was listening to the Sox feed with Farmer and Stone. Now that I'm watching Bob, I really miss Stone. He's simply better than Bob. It's really no comparison.

He's not? A quick glance at his splits doesn't show that at all.

sounds like free floating anxiety. A few things have gone wrong, so naturally, everything else will.
