    I follow the Cubs and Royals like crazy. My favorite team and my home team. There's a reason they call the postseason a crap shoot.

    They're awful, I wouldn't care if they're biased. But they're legit terrible If that's the case, I totally agree with you. Just terrible announcers. But I think they are always going to be biased towards the team that is ahead. There's very few good MAJOR announcers that get games like this. Very frustrating. Would love to hear Scully and maybe Denny Matthews on the NLCS. Never gonna happen.

    If there's one thing I hate about sports forums, you can go to one and claim the announcers are totally against you and the umps are bad. Go to the opposite team and it is the exact same thing.

    Please don't ever let him make the majors. I had to suffer through far too many of his starts with the Royals.

    Pretty sure I've seen guys get further out than that and been called safe. Maybe the ump wanted to save Castro's career by ending that inning while he could.

    Kind of surprised there wasn't more of an uproar after the Bourn deal. I thought a few weeks ago everyone was hoping to sign him. Considering the money he got, it seems like a pretty big win for the Indians.

    This is fun. glad i could entertain you. there is a reason why this board has basically become a little cult of about 15-20 posters, instead of discussions it has turned into a big dick contest between a few people while others just like to rip others opinions. carry on fellas... The two people that quoted your typos would not be considered part of the cult of 15-20 posters that are most well known around here.

    70-74. I'm one of those guys that was hoping for a real dual front. I'm also trying to take the advice of a couple of mods and let the other doom and gloom guys speak for me instead of repeating what they've said.

    Yep. Hochevar is just bad. He does show signs of domination occasionally, but they are rare. He'll put up a line of 9 IP, 4 H, 1 R and then go four straight without getting out of the fifth. It's maddening. A change of scenery might help, though, and it's not like the Cubs are competing this year. I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in for a ST invite and maybe slot him in as a #5 if he looks okay.
