soto was getting rather lucky on balls in play in his first month; he's been pretty unlucky on balls in play during the last month. his walk rate is down a little but his K-rate hasn't really changed. so he's probably an .800-.850 OPS guy, not as good as he was the first month and not as bad as he has been over the past month.

I'm going to be honest

 

I still don't have very much confidence in Eric Patterson, despite the relatively hot start

 

he just doesn't seem to know what he's swinging at half the time

If all of the minorleaguers who came to the majors and had red hot starts for us over the past few years kept it up...
