I know all the blather about how Dempster hasn't "won on the road yet," but there's really no excuse not to win this with as good as he's been (and continually better) and as awful as Contreras has been his last few starts.

At least we dont have to face Danks again. So what is it, Contreres, The Silent Asasin, and Buerhle? Whats are rotation looking like? Demopster, Gallagher, Marshall, or are they going to plug in Lilly a day early.

nope, you've got it right

Is WGN Cubs or White Sox?

I can't sit through another Friday of Hawk and I don't get CSN. He's just painful to listen to.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Hawk and DJ call the first game of the Cubs/White Sox series at Wrigley this past weekend?

Yeah, Hawk and DJ were on WGN for that game.

We'll get wet before noon, it looks like, but it should be out of the area by first pitch. The question is what, if anything, will come after.

I'm hoping if there is a lot of rain in the area around gametime that Lou switches back to Gallagher for the start today. I'd hate to send Dempster out there for 2 innings and then have to take him out due to a lengthy delay.

I don't understand why they decided to take away the extra rest for Dempster. He was still going to pitch in the series. Every bit of rest will help him come September/October.

Pitcing today gives him an extra start before the All-Star break than pitching tomorrow would. That's why they made the switch.

Gotcha...that makes sense.
