I have a bad feeling about this series. Say what you will about the Sox, but their run differential is excellent. I think they're a really good team, especially at home.

 

The only thing I will say about the Sox is that I agree with you -- they're pretty good.

 

They do like to smack talk though, which is sad. I guess the classness behavior filters down all the way from the GM, down through the manager, and to the players.

Actually, this series is part of that 10-game road trip. After this series they will have 7 games on the road.

But Lou started Fontenot against Contreras last Saturday, and he responded by hitting a home run. Lou doesn't often go away from a guy the next time they face the same pitcher if they have success the first time.

 

Except when he PH for Fontenot when his second AB of the inning came up....
