    The flat brimmed hat definitely looks idiotic. Seems some of these ballplayers like the "thug" look for whatever reason. I pretty much automatically hate anyone that wears their hat like that. Cueto, Perdomo, Belliard, etc. At least they took the stickers off the brim, though. Most kids don't even do that anymore...

    Remember hes never been a full timer before. last year was the first time he played in over 100 games, and he put up respectable numbers. Considering the options, Id just assume go with him the rest of the way. Repeat after me: JUST AS SOON JUST AS SOON JUST AS SOON JUST AS SOON JUST AS SOON JUST AS SOON "Just assume" is not the phrase and it doesn't make any sense. Think about it.

    Maybe if enough people make a big enough stink about DeRo, the media will catch on and then Hendry will bring Mark back. Historically, Jimbo is pretty easily influenced by the talking heads at ESPN(The Cubs need left-handed hitting, the Cubs need a leadoff hitter, etc). JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON, ESPN.

    When's the last time ANYONE had three straight walkoffs? Remember about three or four weekends ago when the Yankees had three straight walkoffs? It was all you could hear about on ESPN for the next ten days. Let's see how much play the Cubs get from their own streak...

    That's all we need when our pitching staff is consistently only giving up 2-3 runs a game. Too bad we're usually scoring 0-1 runs per game.

    One of the most frustrating parts about this team is how solid the pitching, especially the starting staff, has been. Just imagine where this team would be in the standings if it could score a measly four runs a game.
