Crap! Edmonds is hurt. With Fukudome DH'ing, we have no CF. :x

In the interest of saving the DH, do you put Patterson in CF, DeRosa to LF?

Patterson played CF yesterday for a bit so probably.

Just wondering, does anyone here have a video of Derrick Rose throwing the first pitch?

He's a Sox fan though :P :(

Can someone photoshop him in a Cubs jersey

Another pic, perhaps this one is easier to Photoshop

what happeend to Edmonds?

Listening to the radio it sounded like JE tweaked his ankle crossing the 1st base bag. The trainer came out but Edmonds stayed in the game.

I dont think I could handle another major injury.

Actually he tripped coming out of the box. looks like after he swung and tried to take his first step he landed wrong and did something to his ankle/calf/lower leg.

Is he still in the game?

Soto still .225/.304/.391/.695 in his last 43 games (since May 5th)

Yeah, at least offensively, Soto is not quite the god everyone expected him to be.

Maybe it's the weather. This feeling is like its 2006 or something, I hate it.

really? the first place, best record in baseball 2008 cubs remind you of the 96-loss 2006 cubs?

sorry, dudes, but it is really, really hard to stomach these threads. try enjoying the season a bit.

Ron: How fast was that pitch?

Pat: 122 mph. We strive for accuracy here on Cubs radio.

Awesome. I love Pat.

Despite the feeling, during the whole interleague stretch, the Cubs have played .500.

Just goes to show that this year's Cub team is so good that a .500 stretch feels like a .407 stretch (the 2006 season).

He's just saying he gets a weird feeling right now. Haven't you ever gotten a creepy feeling in real life where you feel like something is wrong even though nothing is?

It's cause the league has figured him out. And he hasn't made the adjustments.
