Good thing Marquis is going to go deep into tomorrow night's game and rest the pen.

I know a win is still a win, but I would have really prefered not to blow both of our closers in a game where we had a 7-3 lead.

Go Cubs! Let's go for a Divine Nine tomorrow night!

Yeah, he said he was really "jacked up" or something like that for this series.

Can you blame him? What else does he have going for his team?

Thank you CSN for the enormous camera pan.

I thought the glare was me going into the light as my heart exploded.

I think the glare was from the about a million Cubs fans from the game having their hearts nearly explode

If I was at the game it would have been one of those " ##$$%# $%$R& $#%^ %$^%& ... oh he caught it. YES WE WON WE WON."

I still don't know why Lou took Lieber out after 1 inning. Maybe he's forseeing a short outing by Marquis tomorrow, but I wanted Lieber to go through the 7th, then use anyone but Marmol and Wood for the last 2.

I'd swap Hart for Cotts for tomorrow.

I believe tomorrow is his start, so you could just replace Marquis with him. O:)

This is one of Lou's worst uses of the pen this year.

absolutely cannot use marmol or wood tomorrow night.

Marquis pretty much has to go more than 5 for that to happen.

Because Wuertz is almost certainly unavailable for tomorrow, and Lieber can probably only pitch 1 inning tomorrow. All the other pitchers better be effective or else there won't be much left to turn to.

Just leave Marquis out there for 8 innings, we lose, we lose.

What if he throws like 200 pitches and blows out his arm?

More positives.
