I'd honestly be all for a 90% night game home schedule. For one thing, it's easier to watch them. Plus, I just have a lot more fun attending them.

I'm 2-0 in the stands. Will be there next Friday.

I probably won't get to Wrigley this year. :(

I'll be at the game in Milwaukee on July 31st, though.

You live in SE Wisconsin, no excuse.

I hate home night games.

Baseball is meant to be played during the day, dangit! There should be far more 1:20 starts than there actually are.

Yup. I can't stand missing games because of work. I don't mind this tradition dying.

I'd rather let the games pass the time at work and have my nights free.

So with a long line starting to form behind him, is it safe to say that tonight could be Marquis' last chance?

I have to think Marquis will get 1 more start after this one at the very least.

If they had wanted to bring Hill up this week, they wouldn't be starting Gallagher on Friday.

Marshall isn't fully ready quite yet from stretching out.

Lieber just got demoted, so Lou isn't likely to throw him in there in place of Marquis.

So I think Marquis will start today and Sunday. If Gallagher and Hill pitch well and Marquis pitches poorly, he might be gone. If Marquis pitches ok, and Gallagher pitches ok, I think Gallagher will be the one taken out when Hill comes back.

Don't have the $$ this year. I usually take a bus from the Jefferson, WI Park and Rec dept down to the game, but they're charging more than I can afford this year with a ton of bills and a kid on the way.

Maybe next year. I'll save all winter if I have to.

Yea, he's been named the long man this week.

Gallagher will probably start in what would've been his spot on Friday.

Pie's packing his bags for his trip to Iowa.... ](*,)

Another lefty pitching tonight, so I didn't expect him to start. Of course, after we sign Jim freaking Edmonds tomorrow, Pie will indeed be packing.

Every year seems to cut down on the amoutn of day games, and economically it makes sense. You can get higher ratings and better attendance in the afternoon/evening.

I hate it though

Well i got out of class early and I suppose I could go and buy myself a ticket for the game - and actually get to WATCH a game for once this year as this will be the last home game (save my best friends graduation) that I will miss all year...Hmm.

But there's a high chance of rain in the forecast - I think I'll stay put.

Lee Elia thinks you should go get a job and see what it's like to actually work like the 85% of us.

Same. On a day off it's nice, although the night games are nice when I work that day.

The only way we lose this game is if Marquis totally blows up.

Which is very possible. But in the grand scheme of things, might be the best case scenario. I'll still be rooting for him to do well though, obviously.
