If theres a better late inning bullpen combo in baseball tham Marmol/Wood, I hope we never have the misfortune of facing them.

Marmol's trend of making half his appearances when the game is not within 2 runs continues.

 

And it needs to end.

 

He's pitched 11 of the teams 20 games. He is on pace to pitch in 89 games this year :shock:

 

I think and hope Lou is just trying to make sure they win these close games now and hope Howry comes around and can take the load off Marmol through the summer.

When's the last time a set up man made the all-star team?

 

 

My mind has gone blank on his name, but the guy from the Red Sox last year made it, I think.
