I think I've read that the once the Cubs get Wood warm, they will definitely use him in a game. But I have to imagine that if they break through here in the 8th, it could be worthwhile not to use him here.

 

So what's it going to be?

That was the case last night, right? Lou wanted to get him in the game regardless since it had been 3 games, apparently, but I doubt he would use him two games in a row in blowout situations.

I just dropped Hank Blalock and picked up Ronny Cedeno on my fantasy team. (I have Ryan Braun, Evan Longoria, Mark Reynolds, Alfonso Soriano, and Carl Crawford to split between my 3B, LF, and UTIL spots... so dropping Blalock becomes less insane)
