I only have UConn to the sweet 16, so this isn't terrible, but I paid $12.50 for them in my auction pool, and probably my best chance to collect on UCLA's ridiculous $150.25 price. Not that it would happen but still.

I thought long and hard about that game and nearly did pick South Alabama. If I did, I would've had them beating Tennessee as well. Thankfully, I didn't go through with that.

 

And like everyone else already mentioned, I wish Gus were in Tampa. Tim Brando blows. Gus would've had a heart attack after the Western Kentucky buzzer beater.

Same here though it's not a big deal. All of my friends had UConn going out in the sweet 16 to UCLA anyway.

So the upshot of this is that UCLA's trip to the final four just got even easier. Well, I'll be on UCLA's campus most the way, wearing my Tar Heels shirt. I'm going to be very unpopular indeed if they meet in the championship game (which they probably won't, but still). Kind of like when I was in Chicago for the 2005 finals. This should be fun one way or the other.
