Hopefully we can have an NFL discussion here each week. With that said, here are the matchups...

Houston at Carolina -- 12:00

Cincinnati at Cleveland -- 12:00

Atlanta at Jacksonville -- 12:00

Green Bay at New York Giants -- 12:00

Buffalo at Pittsburgh -- 12:00

San Francisco at St. Louis -- 12:00

New Orleans at Tampa Bay -- 12:00

Indianapolis at Tennessee -- 12:00

Seattle at Arizona -- 3:05

Minnesota at Detroit -- 3:05

Dallas at Miami -- 3:05

New York Jets at Baltimore -- 3:15

Kansas City at Chicago -- 3:15

Oakland at Denver -- 3:15

San Diego at New England -- 7:15

Washington at Philadelphia -- 7:30 Monday night

That Sunday night game looks to be a really good matchup. Pretty weak Monday nighter, especially for week two. Hopefully the Rams can get on track. It would be tough to overcome two losses at home to start the season.

In before move to WCFB?

Nah, though there's a thread there too and hopefully we can keep the posting high there too.

Big games for my teams.

I'm hoping for another big game from Romo.

You and me both. Every big game for Romo will pretty much mean a victory for my fantasy team that week.

I had Romo on my fantasy bench last week and he scored 35 points - somehow I still won.

Who did you start instead of Romo?

JP Losman. :x

I didn't really think about it - in fact, I forgot Romo was on my team until an hour ago when I looked and saw that number.

He looked great last week. Hopefully we will continue to see more Barber and less Jones. That coupled with another Browns loss will be a good weekend.

So what is the deal on Eli, is he playing Sunday?

Almost definitely not. He was originally expected to miss a month, but after reevaluation, they now think he can return as soon as next week.

The mountain of a QB Jared Lorenzen will take his place Sunday.

I'll go out on a limb (well, not really) and predict a Raiders loss. I think Culpepper is going to play, though so I'm sort of looking forward to it.

You one bold man with that prediction! I'd like to see Culpepper play and I hope he does well.

Big game for the Colts, if under the radar. It's a chance to assert their divisional dominance once again -- along with next week's game at Houston. The Titans appear to be an up-and-coming team, defeated the Colts last year (albeit on a 60-yard FG), have a great coach in Jeff Fischer who always comes up with some wrinkles for the Colts, plus an excellent rushing attack. Their defense dominated a typically strong Jacksonville rushing game last week. If the Colts defense can keep it's strong defensive play coming off last week's annihilation of the Saints, plus last year's playoff showing, they should be able to win. But, last year, the Titans gashed the Colts for like 200 yards rushing twice.

we sure as hell better beat the deadskins this week

I'm not sure who I want to lose most in that game.

And the proper derogatory nickname for the Redskins is the foreskins.

you should be rooting for the skins... they're not very good. The Eagles and Cowboys are the contenders for that division.
