Don't put this loss on Demp. The offense blew chunks. They had so many opportunities... and failed... and thats why this team doesn't deserve a playoff spot.

 

Fortunately the playoff teams aren't decided by who "deserves" a playoff spot.

Yeah, they're decided by wins and this team sucks at that too

10 hits, 10 walks, 1 HBP, and 4 runs-one of which was a 3 run homer. It's almost not possible.

 

Well, this is how the race goes. It's simply a competition to who can blow more games, and there's still enough time for both sides to go up and down a few more times.

um...pretty sure the game was "on the line" right there. as evidenced by the game ending with one swing of the bat.

DAMNIT, Why the F can't the Astros realize they're the Astros?

 

It's not really the problem. It's more about the fact that the Cubs suck. They had every opportunity to win this game, but of course they didn't.

Yeah, I realize that the Astros are out there to win and not just lay down for the Cubs (as they seem to do for everyone else when it doesn't benefit the Cubs). It's just my hatred for the Astros is soooo deep. And yes the Cubs had EVERY opportunity to win this thing.

Quite honestly, I don't want the Cubs to make the playoffs. Just go on a nice 10-game losing streak and end this crap already, because they've proven they obviously don't want the division badly enough.
