Paralysis is probably worse. Wishing either is ridiculously inappropriate.

Dempster having the kind of outing that would have been useful when he threw away the last game of the Dodgers series.

He should save this stuff for close games, not ones like tonight.

wow this big ten network sounds great, thanks a bunch comcast and big ten a-holes

Yeah, why the hell are they advertising it in Houston.

probably because they can watch it down there.... but i only live in the home of one of the more prominent big ten members, so why should i be able to watch it too?

You still have to pay a contract with paralysis, I think.

I'd settle for Kansas City claiming him on irrevocable waivers, though.

He can live, we can get our payroll flexibility back, everyone is happy.

well the good news is, if Theriot gets on Lou wouldn't possible sac with Lee... would he?

Nah, Theriot will ground out, Lee will pop out, Pie will single, Lou will have Ramirez bunt him over... only to realize after the fact that it was the third out.

To hell with this garbage. Despite putting on 4 runs, this has been the worst offensive performance by the Cubs in a long time. It doesnt matter worth a damn how many base runners you pile up if they dont cross the plate. Im going to bed and Im sure Ill wake up and read about Hunter Pences walk off homer.

OK, one more inning. Dempster shocked me with that quickie. The problem is, the only semi trustworthy reliever left is Eyre, and if the Cubs score, they'll have him close, and if not, and the game goes on, we'll be left with Wuertz, Ohman, and Wood. Maybe Lou will go with Hart.

I hope Kerry Wood doesn't make an appearance tonight.
