I can't help but think Eyre will give up some runs.
I've got the same feeling, but luckily they hit it at Jones. I also don't think he'll get to see TOO many batters. It's really hard to let up on Eyre after that first half, even though he's been better lately.

YOu could crawl to 2nd if Kendall is throwing

you could also crawl to second if the pitcher doesnt hold you, pitches out of the windup, and you start running so that by the time ball leaves his hand you are at the half way point, and then the pitcher throws a 78 mph slider in the dirt.

Geez. I know that was mainly on Eyre, but when was the last time Kendall threw out anyone?

I think it was when onions were the thing to put on your belt.

Gimme 5 Bees for a quarter you'd say.

And I think people are overreacting to KyHen a little bit.

Yeah, let's enjoy this game the Cubs have battled back to be in instead of the bickering.

Im not callin him a troll as he/she does provide alot of quality posts. I just think its odd to come to a Cubs board and continuously post in a other games thread

kendall has a below average arm, but cubs pitchers have been pretty terrible at holding on runners this year. there is plenty of blame to go around.

What's the point of bringing in Eyre there to face only a .250 hitter?

Why not just let Wood face Munson and then Loretta?

I don't mind them easing Wood along myself. I understand what you're saying though because Eyre does have the potential to give up a big inning.
