I forgot that this was just on the BTN. Appalachian State blocked the last second FG attempt (roughly 37-40 yards out) and the same guy picked it up and ran it back all the way to the 6 yard line as the clock expired.

I dont have the Big Ten Network, I was following on my computer, Why did App St kick a FG on first down with 30 secs left. Coach almost cost his team a major upset.

 

I think the only thing that saves Carr his job is for Michigan to somehow win a National Title. I can pretty much rule that out as an option.

To be fair, a lot of people seemed to agree that Michigan was wildly overrated. Even before today I didn't think they were even one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the Big Ten.

It was stupid not to run some more time off the clock, I agree.

 

Worked out though, it only made the game that much more exciting to watch!

I have no idea. They didn't have any timeouts left, but they really should have taken a knee, at which point Michigan would have called a timeout, and then run some more time off the clock by dropping back and throwing it out of the endzone.

 

But hey, it made it that much more dramatic.

Me too, I knew they were overrated. The thing is though, I think App State is a serious contender for their championship. A part of this has to be stupid scheduling. Christ just play Central Michigan and enjoy your week 1 win.
